How are teams selected?
Unfortunately, Only 10 teams can be accommodated for CWS Women’s Sports Day 2026 due to venue and event limitations, so teams are encouraged to be intentional when building their squads. Selection will consider overall team energy, participation, enthusiasm, and alignment with the spirit of the event.
Preference may be given to organisations already championing women in sport and women’s empowerment, while still maintaining a diverse mix of teams and communities. Teams will also be asked to submit a short message explaining why they believe they should be chosen to participate, as this will form part of the selection process.
When does registration close?
Registration opens on May 22nd, 2026 and closes on August 3rd, 2026.

Full payment (once team is confirmed), registered team members’ names, and official team colours must be submitted by August 17th, 2026.
Do we need to wear uniforms?
Teams are encouraged to coordinate team colours and outfits to add to the energy and spirit of the event. There will be a prize for the best team kit.
Do teams need athletic experience?
No elite or professional athletic experience is required, but teams should be prepared to actively participate in physical novelty events throughout the day, keeping in mind that their main competition consists of a team of national athletes. Coordination and vibes are most recommended however.
What kind of events will there be?
The day will feature fun, high-energy novelty events focused on teamwork, coordination, competitiveness, and vibes. Some of the events include your typical sports days events like tug-of-war, wheel-barrow race, the longest line, pop the balloon, 3-legged-race and a few fun surprises.

No. To ensure diversity and that more groups/organisations have the opportunity to participate, you can only register one team.
